League Update: Suspensions handed out as a result of actions from a game on August 1st, 2007

Hello everyone.

This is just a note to advise everyone in the league that two players received suspensions as a result of their actions during a game on August 1st ,2007 between the Blue Bombers and The Wrath.

A member of the Wrath was suspended for 1 game for using profane language and displaying unsportsmanlike behaviour.

A member of the Blue Bombers was suspended for the remainder of the regular season and the tournament due to unsportsmanlike conduct which included throwing infield dirt and the first base bag at a player on The Wrath.

I would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone in the league that the IBM Canada Recreational Co-Ed SloPitch League is supposed to promote "fun, fitness, and fellowship".

The principles of our league will be enforced through suspensions if additional unsportsmanlike activities are reported to the league.
